The project consists of construction of a new Steel Melt shop at Mirsarai, Chittagong with a built-up area of 45000 sq.m on RCC cast-in-situ piles, around 2900 nos. of various dia of 450mm, 500mm, 600mm of various lengths. The structures include piles, pile caps, pedestals, machine foundation, columns, beams, slabs, floors, anchor bolt setting etc civil related works for furnace and scrap bay, intermediate bay, billet storage bay, construction of 3 to 5 - storied residential buildings for Sr Management, Managers and Jr staff, workers dormitory building, civil works for utilities, facilities and auxiliaries such as water supply system, sanitation, drainage, water conservation, air pollution control system, deep tube-wells, roads and pavement and power lines, flooring, boundary wall, walkways, etc including other civil related works. The project was funded by own resources.
