BCL was in JV with Kocks Consult of Germany was the consultant for the design review and supervision of construction and rehabilitation of approximately 113 km long highway between Ayni and Panjakent at Uzbekistan Border including the improvement of road safety and public facilities for local communities, & upgradation of Sarazm border post infrastructure and improved public facilities along the road for local communities, funded by ADB and OFID. Construction of Existing road included construction of 31 bridges, drainage and infrastructure at town centers and installation of mobile weighbridges to enhance control of vehicle overloading on the project road. BCL provided the Resident Engineer, Senior Bridge Engineer, Senior QA Engineer and Maintenance Management Expert in the team under the Team Leader from Kocks.
