BCL in a consortium of consultants lead by Halcrow (UK) was the consultant for the Pre Construction activities including assistance in procurement and selection of Contractor, construction supervision and contract administration for construction of this 1.23 km long four lane road bridge over one of the mighty river, the Meghna including extensive river training works, toll plazas and approach roads. Meghna is the third largest river in the Indian sub-continent with deep channels. The project was funded by DFID and Bangladesh Government.
BCL was also involved with the Prefeasibility and Feasibility studies conducted in earlier phases of the project
