The project consists of: Improvement of 1034.50 km of Upazilla Roads up to BC level; Construction of 7961.90 m bridge/culverts on Upazila Road; Improvement of 66.70 km of Union Roads upto BC level; Construction of 339 m bridge/culverts on Union Roads; Upgradation of 38 nos. Growth centre and 12 nos. Rural markets; Improvement of road safety measures on Upazila roads; Tree plantation and care taking of 1185 km of Upazilla and Union roads; Maintenance of 1400 km village road. The project is funded by JICA. BCL was a member o the Consultants’ consortium led by Hifab.
