Dhaka Elevated Expressway PPP Project, Dhaka, Bangladesh

To ease traffic congestion within Dhaka City, a total length of 19.73 km with four lane dual carriageway Dhaka Elevated Expressway is constructing from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and will end at Dhaka-Chittagong Highway near Kutubkhali. The Joint Venture of Thai MM Limited Thailand, Mott MacDonald Limited – UK and Euroconsult Mott MacDonald B.V. – Netherlands in association with Bangladesh Consultants Limited has been appointed on 20th March 2014 by the “Client”, Bangladesh Bridge Authority (the “Grantor’s Representative”) and First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Limited (the “Concessionaire”), as an Independent Engineer. The Independent Engineer involved to act on the day-to-day implementation of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway PPP Project. During construction works, the project’s Environmental Management Plan of the EIA together with HSMP are implementing for guiding to protect the natural environment and to eliminate all potential risks of workers and project personnel at site. Environmental concern to maintain current drainage assets during construction & operation phases of DEE at route between BSI to Banani Rail Station of Dhaka Elevated Expressway Project Minimizing the negative impacts on the natural drainage system during the construction work are the primary concern and responsibility of all parties involved in Dhaka Elevated Expressway Project
