- Institutional Strengthening of the Housing Sector, Bangladesh: Technical assistance to the Urban Development Directorate in rationalizing the organization and operation of the housing sector institutions, strengthening financing and lending operations to more effectively meet the housing needs, particularly of the low income group.
- Second Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh: Master plan for setting up a second EPZ in Chittagong, on the left bank of the Karnafuli; comparative study of six sites, preparation of landuse plan of the selected site, layout of plots, and utility services. Site selection and preliminary design or a dedicated jetty capable for handling ocean-going vessels; cost estimation and specifications for the development works.
- CDA Landuse Plan: Preparation of a landuse master plan for a fast growing peri-urban part of the port city of Chittagong on the right bank of the Karnafuli and also a plan for expansion of the city across the river on the left bank; landuse and socio-economic surveys; services planning and their integration with the existing services of the city.
